Successful Helium Recovery System Integration with Our 7T Magnets!

We are excited to announce that our lab has successfully connected our 7T magnets to Northwestern's helium recovery system, marking a major leap forward in sustainability and efficiency. Guided by expert recommendations and inspired by successful implementations at Yale and Northwestern, we’ve designed a streamlined apparatus that eliminates the need for bulky components, ensuring smooth and effective helium refills. Our first helium refill with the new setup was a complete success, with helium efficiently captured and returned to the recovery system. This accomplishment underscores our commitment to responsible helium management, aligning our lab with broader sustainability goals while maintaining the highest standards of research excellence.
